Time has come!
I am finally launching my new project called unostella.com. There is only temporary page at the moment but I hope to get soon 2 weeks off so I can focus on designing proper brochure website. Not even thinking about having a full interactive masterpiece in flash as we are talking about 1 month hard work. Flash websites are also difficult to position on google and updating them can be a pain. Bearing that in mind I rather go with XHTML, CSS and a small mix of Flash and AJAX.
Once site is launched, SEO campaign will start. Target is to get on 1st page in google search results under “webdesign london” in about 6 months time.
But advertising is not only search engines, it’s also print ads and giving away hundreds of business cards. I realize there is a quite large sum of money to be spend on promoting this business. But I strongly believe everything will pay back if spend wisely.

As a small, brand new company I’ll be particularly targeting projects like brochure XHTML and flash web sites. It will be also nice to have a few print requests as I enjoy creating stationery. My point here is to get unostella portfolio as fat as it can be in very short period of time. To be honest, if I have 20 clients in following 6 months, it will be a great result for me.

I got to separate work from my personal life, so launching new, strictly business blog is a matter of time now. It is scheduled before the launch of official site. I don’t want my clients looking here, as this place will go mad shortly.

We are hopefully moving to new house in 1 week time so there is lot of things going on at the moment.
I’ll definitely set there up a new, proper office to work more effectively, as I currently work, eat and sleep in one room.

I really, really hope that by the end of this year I’ll be running my own, small business and … have no time for sleep.
There is so much work to do!
